Volunteers on a medical project work along side qualified medical personnel to help provide medical care for local people in the local clinics located within the town of Livingstone.
We recommend already qualified Medical staff or those who are in a medical school for two years or more to register for this programme.
Volunteers are required to have proof of their relevant qualifications or recommendation letters from a medical school for this project.
Please note that volunteers work under supervision and help to provide basic patient care.
The following are some of the departments at the clinics :Pharmacy, paediatrics, HIV/AIDS, Family planning, maternity , laboratory testing and registry
We recommend volunteers to bring along some scrubs (any colour) to wear at the project and closed shoes. Kindly also bring some disposable gloves for your use.
Kindly note that you will also be required to pay $100 as an attachment fee to pay to the clinic as all volunteers at the clinics are required to do that. This fee will be added to the programme fees that you pay.
